The Place Köln-Mülheim
In the middle of the “Schäl Sick”, the station Köln-Mülheim surprises again this year with various elements and activities on the forecourt. For the second time, we are transforming the area into a place to stay with quality, based on our Smart City partnership with the City of Cologne and Nahverkehr Rheinland.

Activities at the station
The Freiraum Kit offers seating for a coffee in the sun as well as shady places to stay. The play area for children is waiting for them to run wild and have a good time. For the inquisitive, there's plenty to learn about the flowering perennials, herbs and other summer plants grown there in our flowerbeds. In addition, every Wednesday is market day on the forecourt. The Marktschwärmer will be available between 5.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. to offer their fresh, regional foods. Whether it's fresh cheese, milk or other products, you can place your order directly through the Marktschwärmer website up until Mondays.

For a new togetherness in the neighborhood
The cooking evenings together with Über den Tellerrand on the forecourt offer the opportunity to discover recipes from all over the world while cooking together. The dinner afterwards invites the neighborhood residents to get to know each other. All information about the next cooking evenings can be found here.
Curtain up for our summer cinema in cooperation with Tag des guten Lebens. Starting in July, you can experience a special open-air cinema evening in Cologne-Mülheim. Make yourself comfortable on the forecourt, grab a pair of our wireless headphones and enjoy the movie. Tickets for the events are available at 3€ per person. Corresponding reservations are accepted until 15 minutes before the film via [email protected].
